Live Cancún beach cam & seaweed check
Watch Cancún in real time, then cross-check today’s rating below. Cams are the fastest way to see actual sand conditions before you commit to a beach day.
What to look for on the cam
- Brown lines at the waterline — fresh sargassum landing. Worse after onshore wind.
- Water colour — turquoise is clear; murky brown-green near shore means seaweed offshore.
- Time of day — check mornings. Crews often clear resort beaches by mid-morning, but new mats can arrive by afternoon.
- Empty vs busy sand — raked, groomed sand with sunbeds usually means an actively maintained (cleaner) beach.
